Heya, folks,

I'm thinking of converting the AMT/ERTL D-7 bulldozer kit to a Vietnam-era Rome Plow bulldozer...

Does any have or know of a good set of online plans for this beast...?

Thanks a bunch!

Regards and Aloha,

I am not sure about a D-7 Rome plow but here is a link to the D-9 Vietnam era Rome plow dozer if it will help you. http://www.jedsite.info/engineer/charlie-caterpillar/d9_series/rome-plow/d9rp-intro.html

Thanks, guys!

From what I am gathering, it looks as if a few different models of the Cat bulldozer were used for Rome Plow duty in Vietnam...

Harder than you would think to find photos, so if anyone has anymore photos or even better, plans, that would be awesome!

Aloha and Mahalo!

One more appeal to anyone who may have access to a Rome Plow or have scratchbuilt one:

Does anyone have pictures of the rounded strut which rests against the back of the blade? This bar allows the blade to pivot to the left or right...

None of the pictures I have found thus far shows the area behind the blade and what this arraingment behind the blade looks like... Even drawings would work!

Heya, Animal, thanks again, dude --- any idea where that D-9 Rome Plow in the photo is sitting...?

Thanks again, folks!!!!!!!!!

Much Aloha and Muy Mahalo,

Johnny B.
