Hi Oishi,
First, welcome to the board .
Now for the important part, comments on your build WOW!, FANTASTIC!!
You've done a very realistic and convincing job on your kit. The spent .50 cal. casings are are great touch. I think it's everything a model should be.
Really appreciate you sharing your work with us. It's a real inspiration for me to try and improve my skills and techniques
Regards,
Joe

Hi Oishi,

Great looking Sherman you've got there!! I like the weathering of the wooden panels, the spilled fuel, and the mudspray!!
You mind sharing with us how you made those .50cal casings?

Welcome at the big A, and keep the pics coming!!

Grtz, John.

Welcome Oishi..Always great to have another Sherman builder on board... I must say your kit looks awesome ..excellent job ... Now the people who know me know that I do like to point out a few corrections ...These are meant to help and not trying to put your work down in no way ,shape or form...There are a few things I noticed ...The big one for me is your tracks are floating ..They should be down on top of the skids more and look loose around the sprokets.I think the tracks might be one link too long...Another thing is make sure to get all the way around on the wheels when doing the weathering ..This is easier to do if the wheels turn ... In some of the close ups you can see where no dirt got on the wheel rims and rubber .. I noticed a punch mark on the inside of the commander hatch, and last of all and this I'M not sure of but I thought that the cover on the .50 cal ammo cans in WWII opened towards the front ,but there might have been different types I guess...
These are all little nit picks and don't take away from the fact that this is really a super sherman ...Congrats.

Rick

Hi mate, welcome aboard!

Your Sherman proves you've got the skills, very nice job. Just one thing: I think it's too green...should be more OD. Could be a matter of taste....

But don't mind about that too much, I wouldn't want to see your work dissapear under a OD coat. Great job!

Hey Oishi!! THAT is a nice looking Sherman! Think that you have put in a tremendous effort with this tank, and the results show Now, in my humble opinion, I think that if you go to this effort, then you could replace the brush guards on the lights and siren with brass strip moulded yourself! This in itself is a fun endeavour and you feel a great sense of achievement (not to mention they look a ton better than the kit supplied guards!)
Just food for thought
Congrats again
