Hi

I need to get a replacement turret basket for my Tamiya Leopard 2A5. Greatmodels has two possibilities:

Lion Roar 018 Leopard 2 A6 Turret Basket for (TA) and,
Tamiya 35272 Leopard II Photo-Etch Grilles.

Can anyone recommend one of these from personal experience, or has anyone used both?

I had used both Tamiya and Lion Roar for my Leopards 2 A5/A6. The Tamiya PE grilles are in white metal and thicker than those of Lion Roar, they fit well with the plastic turret basket of my Tamiya Leopard 2A5. The Lion Roar PE parts are in yellow metal, they have more detail parts than Tamiya PE grilles and not too expensive (50% less than Tamiya #35272), I don't build my new Leopard 2A6 yet but highly recommended.
