At the very top of the page, hit the link that says "About Us." It will take you a page that gives the current number of registered users.

I know about that Shaun. It's just that I was thinking that someone finding the site for the first time would see it automatically and it might help persuade them to sign up.

With all the problems when the front gate was up, displaying another dynamic piece of info might not too good for speed
