I just won the Dragon initial production Tiger (3 in 1)and the Sdkz 251/21 "Drilling" for $46. That's $23 each if you want to look at it that way. Most places you can't touch either kit for less than $28 each. 2 days ago I got the 1/350 scale Lexington for $83. So if you don't do it now...it's time to stat E-baying

I've purchased several armor models from ebay and I've gotten some pretty good deals on some stuff. Everyting I've gotten has been about $10.00 less than the hobby shops have them for.

£13, which is acceptable when you see the size of the box it came in.

I've bought about 30% of my models in the LHS, the rest on eBay. Save a lot that way. Hate to "hurt" the locals, but a buck is a buck, and I ain't got that many to spend. So's, I gotta get what I can for what I can. In other words: I will continue to buy what I need at the lowest available price; be it eBay or the LHS.

Well, I started scale modelling only a few weeks ago again, after a 15 year gap or so.
I did not (yet) buy models on e-bay, but a $99 Aztec set for $64 and a Paasche D500 compressor (saw it in a store for $175!) for $60.
And that all includes shipping. Delivered at my doorstep.
Yes...a buck is a buck allright..

My best deal was a selling-off of 3 1/48 Tamiya Avro Lancasters BI/III for 45 German Marks (23 Euros) at the local "Conrad Elektronik" shop.

There are some great deals out there alrighty. Just have to be in the right spot at the right time. I grabbed a Tamiya Dragon Wagon on a sale shelf at Hobby Lobby about 6 months back. $12 was what I paid. Yeah, a buck is a buck! :-) :-) "Q"
