Hi Gang....

I'm planning to build a DML Hetzer early version for the Tank Destroyer Campaign. But when I look into the paint instructions in the box, the only color scheme they give is a German yellow one....
There must be more!!
Is there someone out there who can provide me with some nice alternatives?

Thanx in advance,
John.

Yes, but the last pic comes from this site, a lot of german vehicles, tanks, halftracks and cars.

Early Hetzer are not that colorful most of them were used as training vehicles and that is the reason they are mostly dark yellow only ..When doing mine I found a few with dark green overspray and one 3 colored one ...Mids and the lates are more colorful . When building this kit be careful of how the gun is mounted ..I cut everything apart and filled in the back with milliput ....Otherwise you can see into the tank..Not very realistic ...Here are a few pictures of mine that I found in the MB book on the Hetzer..

I copied the color plate as closly as possible and I actually found the color plate for the other side in another book so it as close as possible using color plates as a reference...but who know for sure .

Good luck with your project

Hey Richard,
Very nice job on your Hetzer. Really like the weathering. Subtle but very convincing.
