Currently building an OIF diorama and need help identifying tree types in central Iraq. From the pictures I have seen they appear to be cedar trees but not sure. Any input would be helpful.
I already have a date palm.

From what I've seen in photos - some of which are posted in the gallery - mostly scrub brush and weeds. The trees could be Cedars, Poplars, Italian Cypress or Palms - but these would need a water supply or irrigation. Otherwise stick to the scrub, weeds and occasional Palm.
