Hey Guys,
I'm almost finished my Maus dio and I wanted to share. It depicts a "what if" scene where a finished Maus is being shown off to some high command officers. I still have some painting to do on the figures, and the base-it's going to be a concrete slab. The figure on the left-pointing- will have a large diogram of the Maus while the officers are schooled on the specifics of the tank. I plan on adding a table with some lititure displayed, and some fuel barrels in a corner to fill in some of the dead space. How's it look??

AWESOME camo, its really nice. The dio looks like it will be an intereting one 1. cause you dont see dios with a maus in it. 2. because you rarely see dios that arent in the battlefield. Keep it up i would enjoy to see it finished.

Not exactly true, maybe because you havent seen very many dios that arent on the battlefield. Alright to comment on the diorama. Is that the original base that you will be using? If so you might want somthing that gives the diorama character. To mee it seems a bit boring and out of scale. The concept of the diorama, is ok but also seems a bit boring. You could put a kubel in there a house or somthing to spice it up a bit. Other than that, the figs look good. Good luck with the rest.

Hey Brian, thats a great job on the camo, you've got some real talent there. Of course being off the assembly the tank would shine like a new dime, but it looks a little flat (as in texture) It might look washed(light) out in the photo, but it looks like it could use some washes(paint) and highlights to bring out some detail.
Great idea for the dio, looking forward to seeing the end result

I still can't comment on the thing because it's not finished yet. However, I like the camo pattern on the vehicle.

You know, I get a really an uneasy and eerie feeling watching those headless officers having an assembly. I think Hitler has called in the undead squad. :-)

Anyways, keep up the good work. I'm sure this dio is going to be great.

Hey Guy/Girls
Thanks for the comments.
T-Bomb-I don't plan to add any vehicles, I want the focus to be the Maus and the figures. Plus there is no room and I think it look way too crowded. The base material will be painted concrete and that should add some color to the dio.
Slug-good eye, I do still have some highlighting to do yet.
Angela-What you never heard of Hitler's headless commanders??
