Well gentlemen and ladies!! all 3 vehicles are done, with the lil Gaz addition.
things to know :
This was the Tamiya Gaz , but unlike most Tamiyas i faced some small fit problems in the front part of it. I didnt gave much importance, since its prescheduled that some tarps, will cover parts of it, and also the Gaz was mostly used as a base for 2 nice interesting figures. So dont nitpick on this one !! :-) :-) :-)
Unlikely with the kit's instruction that say to use plain green on the seats of the jeep, i ve used some nice colored leathers for them. What the hell, were in Russia, we have nice leathers!!!!! :-) :-)
I ve also left out the windhileds, and their marks on the glass that will be made later this week .
I ve also shooted some B/W - sepia pictures since my friend Slodder asked for it They , really look good (at least to me !!) and with some Photoshop aging treatment, would be nice as card postals from the front !!!! Just an idea !!!
I hope u all have fun guys, and just to kknow that , i ve already started 19 figures for the dio, including 2 Horses. So u ll have things to see, from now on also thill the end of it. Stay tuned.
Sorry if some pictures do look dark , but my camera is USA made and didnt see, to like all this Russian gren LOL :-) :-) :-)
Thanks for all comments in advance .

Wow amazing Costas! I like the style of weathering, looks really soviet (dirty, used, not too much maintainance :-) )
Just on the second pic....looks like something wet and shiny in the front grill...what is that?
Other than that, great work! This is gonna be an awesome diorama!

Major Goose!
Realy 'major' looking, lovely dirty models and dio! You can almost smell the gasoline and hear the fuel filling pump. Can't wait to see the figures completing them!
I do like the sepia pictures! They make it look even more Sovjet like :-)
Only one piece of nitpicking: on the eight picture (the picture from the front) you can see there's still al little round pressure mark on the upper half of the passanger seat. But if there is going to sit a nice figure; there's no problem at al, offcourse.
Thanks for sharing your work; it's inspirating!
Spasiba!

Thanks for nice comments guys. Paul i used Tamiya, s S Dark Green (dont remember number now) with a tint of Olive Drab in , in different proportions in all three vehicles so , to get different shade. But after this many many layers of filters, with thinner, and pastels with white spirit came over to do the fading and the weathering effects, so dont worry too much for the initial color if u plan to weather some. Also let me know what kind of thing u ll be building in case i can send u some good reference material (like T34)

So fine!
As Russian I`d like to say that Russian Green is good, very authentic (ecpeccialy in top side of GAZ body).
Right title of standard base green color of Russian AFW during WWII is "4BO".

Thanks for the paint tips. I go spray the model this week soon and let you see the result.
I'm building a KVII in it's top days: in the Finnish Winter War as "Bunker-Buster". So it's gonna have a white wash also. I've got an ICM box with 3 Red Army Infantry guys, and perhaps I gonna use the tank commander as well. Make it a snowy dio.
Than I found I've got a PST 1:72 kit from a T85 between all other boxes in my closet. Perhaps that's gonna be a second entry. I do not know much about that tank, so any ref pics are welcome for sure!
PS: I've got a nice finished T34 in my galery (russian ww2 map). If you want, take a look at it and give me your opinion (offcourse, this counts for everybody reading this )

I love the BW and sepia tone photos. The one from above with the pine tree in the corner is great!
The GAZ is good solid work. The kit looks like it has soft details and there's nothing you can do about that.
The quality leather from Russia is wonderful. Where can I get some?
I know its early so this comment may not be necessary, the GAZ looks to perpendicular to the road. Just watch the angles when you do final placement (I don't really need to remind you of that though).

Really nice modelling on the vehicles - and the base too. Looks like the time spent looking for the fuel caps on the T-35 has been put to good use
About the GAZ-67B, IIRC this is rather later than the date of your scene. I don't think they appeared until later in the war.......

Some GAZ history and it appears Tamiya modelled a post-war variant....
