I got "lucky" and got it for $150US on a Squadron pre-order. It now sells for over $200US.

It is not solid gold, but some parts are real solid resin which must be trimmed down to make it even remotely scale ...

The only good thing I can say is that the kit appears to be scaled & proportioned well such that it looks like a RR ...

But then again, for all the hours I put into it, the entertainment factor is something like 1 dollar an hour so I guess it isn't that bad after all ...

Enough whining -- I'm happy with the results ...
