I've got the PzKfw IV F1/G/H and it is a rather nice kit. I would place the Italeri PzKfw IV between the the old Tamiya PzKfw IV Ausf D and the DML PzKfw IVs. The newer Tamiya PzKfw IV is probably the top of the line PzKfw IV, mainly because of its ease of build. The Academy PzKfw IV is a poor copy of the old Tamiya PzKfw IV Ausf H complete with motorization holes in the hull.

I agree with Sabot. The new Tamiya Panzer IVs and the DML Panzer IVs are better, but it is a good buy for the money.
