i've been working on the Dragon 251c halftrack for the past few days and recently i came into a problem. on the rear panel the door will not meet flush with the rest of the model. there is a bout a 2mm gap. has anyone else had this problem? what can i do to fix it?

the pic just shows the back plate held in with blue tack so it shows more of a gap than there really is. when it's pressed all the way in only the doors show a gap.

thanks,
John

John, your problem would appear to be misalignment of the entire upper hull. I cannot tell from your pics if you have fixed part B9 yet? This part would help the alignment of the lower hull which in turn would aid in the alignment of the upper hull. Assuming that the rear lower hull plate is now fixed into position, it might help to shave some off the top of the dashboard and then fix the upper hull into the correct position with the aid of high viscosity (runny) super glue and accelerator. I hope this helps.

John, if all else fails, build it with the doors open. "Q"
