Italeri's 1/35 M8 built as a 'Greyhound' of 56 Recce Regt. in Italy. A veteran of the regiment stated in an interview that most of their vehicles lost the mudguards, hence them being missing on my model. Figure from Tamiya, Decals from Accurate Armour, .50 from Skybow.

Hi mate,

Overall nice model, got some questions though:

- Are you sure about the wheels? The side of the wheels are very dirty while the top of the weels look much cleaner. I wouldn't have made the difference that big!

- The equipment doesn't seem to be painted. Maybe this is realistic, but I'm not sure about that. Maybe you can tell me :-)

I like you made it a British version, I think I've never seen that before!

Thanks for the comments guys

Martin - the wheels are all over dirt except for the tyre treads, look at cars on the road and the mud sticks between the tread blocks but not on the top of them. All the equipment is painted different to the vehicle, but the weathering and lights have made them blend in. In fact the tools are a lighter green, and the jerry cans are darker!

First of all great job on the kit. It looks fantastic.

How was building the kit. Any issuses that i might want to know about??

I have the Italeri M-20 kit that I picked up yesterday for a lot less then the Tamiya one and any input would be welcome.

Thanks for the compliements on my model guys!

Jeff, there are no problems with these kits, they ain't Tamiya but they are half the price! The detail is quite fine and all the parts fit well enough.
