Greetings everyone, today I would like to share with you all my recent completed model; a WWII US multiple gun half track.
This little vignette feature a heavily laden M16 parked proundly at the sidewalk in one of the town in Belgium in Sept 1944. Beside the M16 standed a wide eyes boy together with his trusty dog (name Boo) stared in awe and wishes.........
Cobblestone and war debris complete this vignette for a "feel" of the action. Thank you

Now that is really cool mate, what a fantastic M16 you've got there! I love the stowage and the weathering, also the base looks great, nice job!

How about adding a US fig? I don't think that the crew just parked the thing there and left nobody to watch over it....

Cheers,
Martin

Very Nice scene, congrats. well done on the painting and finishing. I would have given this a 10 out of 10 if it wasn't for a couple of small nit picks.

1. You left some knock out's on the doors
2. The stowage is tied, well most of it, but that, that isn't would be gone in 1/2 a mile.
3. The large container on the front is modern, not WW2 vintage.

I would have really like to see the K-59 drive and idler on this build, it would have made it shine even more than it does!

Congrats!

Hi Martin, thanks for the comments and compliments, I have thought of putting a US figure beside the M16, but somehow I can't find a suitable one.
John, thank you for pointing out the mistake, I will correct it.
cheers.......

I really like your color palette in this scene. Very pleasing.
"Sticky" made some good points. My only criticism is the ration box at the front of the hood has a different fold pattern than the other two, which look correct. The fold should be the same top and bottom of the box.
Great job, however.

Very good vignette, love the stowage and bridging log. Outstanding painting and weathering, and excellent photographs to show them to full advantage

Really great M16, apart from John's points which you've already noted.

Theres a lot of wishes and talk at the moment about bringing out a new US halftrack and all the faults with old one. Looking at this model, goes to show how to bring the old dog to life. I love all your stowage and the layout of it. This, in my mind, hides or at least disguises the problems and your presentation is excellent. Although there have been a few pointers raised, I would be happy with this. I wouldn´t have noticed the other problems ... except for the door knockout punches.
The little base adds a lot to the scene, and yet doesnt take away from it or hide anything.

Coca, them M16's weigh a lot, and put a lot of stress on the engine to build heat, and them louvers out front are open to cool the engine, but when you pile stuff in front of them it looks out of place, that in the summertime they wouldn't cover the only air source to cool their engine.

Maybe in the Winter when they shut them to hold the heat in in sub zero temperatures, but usually all the rest of the time they are open.
