I am in the finishing stages of my Dragon Sdkfz 251/7 and need a little help.
Drybrushing has always been a challenge for myself and I was wondering if anybody could give me any mixture ratios to lighten up Tamiya's Dark Yellow XF-60. According to Shep Paine I need to lighten it a couple of shades. All of my experimentation has gone down the crapper. Any help would be most appreciated.

I wouldn't dry brush with acrylics. It's much easier using enamels to dry brush with, and gives better results.

Would the enamel eat away at my acrylic basecoat? Or is the tiny amount required for drybrushing not going to harm it?
Thank you for your help sir.

As long as you have let the previous coat set it is fine to put enamel over acrylics and vice versa. I agree Acrylics are not the choice for Drybrushing, especially Tamyia. I have used Vallejo with success.
