Sounds like a good idea for a dio to me. I would not worry about if they fit together.
For some other ideas to get your mind going how about these.
a. Have some allies hiding in the trees waiting to attack
b. Have it look like the tank broke down and they are brining stuff to fix it.
Just some other ideas for you.
Post updates if you can

Hi Ricky, I think you have the makings of a sweet diorama here. I would go with your plans. Cheers and keep us posted, Kevin

The AFV's look good, I'd work on the 1/2 tracks left side track. It looks a bit bent.
As far as the dio layout goes, I would suggest that you make paper cut outs the actual size and shape of the AFV's and work on the layout to get a better idea of the overall size of the diorama.
The two attention spots you will have are the two corners where the trees are. They may need to have some extra detail added to give them visual interest.

Ricky, sounds like a great idea to me! As was stated before, cut-outs are a great idea to judge size. One idea I think might be good is to have the King Tiger crew waiting by the road doing something "non-military" while the SdKfz 7 pulls up to unload. Playing cards, eating, kicking a football, that sort of thing.
