I saw this site posted on M-L. I have a lot of memories of the old Airfix (via MPC) 1/76 scale armor, some of them good memories. I had to check out this site that gave some hints on fixing the old kits up.

Tread, they have a bit on the Scammel tank transporter you were interested in.

Do you know anything about their M3A1 Stuart kit? Does anyone have any pictures of it completed?

I wasn't aware that Airfix did an M3A1 Stuart. I know that Hasegawa does an M3 and Matchbox does one that builds into either an M3 or M3A1 Stuart.

Rob's right about there being no Stuart from Airfix in 1/76. They had a Grant or Lee, a Sherman and a Sheridan, but no Stuarts for US built armor. They had a Centurion and a British WW I tank as well. IIRC, they had a Stug of some variant, too, and possibly a Tiger. I think there wa a landing craft with a jeep, too.

They have a pretty extensive range in their ever changing scale of 00, 1/76 and 1/72.

The landing craft they did was an LVT-4 Water Buffalo with Willys Jeep. They also did an LCM Mk 3 with the M4 Sherman.
