Hey guys! It´s been a while but I´m back!
This is what I´ve been working...I believe groundwork is complete....the street is carved in plaster and the buildings I bought from a friend.Well, the only thing I have ready for this dio is the tank, but I-m working on lots of figs too. What do you think so far?Comments and critics are always welcome! !Hope you like it!

Those are the 2 buildings that go on the other side.

Looking good so far, I really like the broken swing. I think maybe the tree needs dulling down a bit, it looks a bit too bright.

Thanks Dave!I noticed that on the tree...I think I´ll spray the grass and the tree with a light dust coat, to make them look even

Antonio, looks like you have another excellent diorama in the works here. I take it the sidewalk side is where the buildings will go and the grassy area is the front of the dio? Looking forward as you add everything together. Keep us posted. Cheers Kevin

Like the rest of the guys I like the detailing on the swing. Nice touch. The road is pretty impressive too. Will you be adding more rubble and something to the upper left of the dio where the barrel is pointing?

Hi Antonio,
Your job here looks very good indeed. It will be very enjoyable to see the buildings on this base. Tell us please, what material did you use for the grass covered part? Is it a prefabricated grass look like layout?

Kevin-Yes, the buildings are on the other side of 'park'
François/Alguhan- The grass and foliage are woodland scenics static grass.Other lill things I found in the garden.
CkTang- Yes, I´ll put more...I´m just waiting for the correct position of the buildings.
Thanks again!

The base looks AMAZING! you really did a great job. I think you should put the Flak in there, it would make it look as if the tank was rolling through an already occupied area, not fighting its way through town, as the base looks like it has already seen some fighting. Either way, it's up to you what you want the dio to convey.

I like the dio. I especially love the way you made the cobblestone street and the groundwork. It's perfect!

Did you scribe the cobblstones or did you buy a cobblestone street?

A couple of things though:

1) It would have been better if you didn't place the road and the sidewalk parallel to the side of the base. It should have been angled so that there is a sense of continuity. I don't think you can change this anymore but you could do this next time when you build your next dio.

2) Place the anti-tank weapon (Panzerfaust) somewhere else, not on top of the fuel barrel. If that falls, then there's gonna be a big boom!

3) Maybe it's just me or the angle of the camera but it looks like the tree is small in proportion to the diorama.

4) I just love the swing. How did you weather it? But maybe you can improve it by putting a chain on the other side of the wooden seat. It would further :explain" that that is a swing. Also you can add the other half of the swing bar (the green thingy). I don't think the swing only has one support bar.

5) The ruins on the park...what are those? Are they a part of a building or a fence? In either case, the rubble should not be concentrated on that area. A fence goes around the park and if that fence is destroyed, there should be rubble on where it was destroyed. The same with a building, too.

Unless, of course, if that's something else...

5) Drybrush a little brown, light green and yellow on the tree and bushes to break up the monotony of the green color.

6) I love the placement of the flak gun. If that is newly placed there, then add a couple of neatly stacked magazine containers on its side. If that is abandoned, weather it a bit and add some used casings at the side of it.

I can't wait for this dio to be finished. I especially like the cobblestone street. My scribed one looks so baaaaadd compared to this one.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
Angela:Thank you too!
1-Yeah, I noticed that, but just when I had scribed everything.I´ll do it in my next one
2-The panzerfaust will not stay there,I put it just because it was laying around...
3-The tree is tall, its just the angle!
4-The swing is not finished yet...but it is a destroyed swing, so I think I´ll put the rest of it in the grass, broken.First I painted it blue, then made some drybrush and weather with pastels and some rust.
5-The ruins are part of a building, a part of a lill church...I´ll make some kind of cross in the middle of the rubbles, I think
6-The grass is not completed too!!BTW, I did the dry brush today!!And I´ll put some pastels in it too
7-The flak is there just to ask everybody if I must put it or not, but I´ll think i´ll do!
Thanks again for the replys and tips!!

Bus -

Great looking dio and especially that groundwork. I'd say keep the Flak position and maybe add some sand bags or earth built up around it, and/or foliage camo. Putting in extras like Angela mentioned would be good also. Then there's always a crew to think about. Could have Flak crew talking to the Panther G crew. Outstanding job and looking forward to seeing it develop.
