Looks terrific Eric!
Did you make the "cast effect" on the turret, or was it like that?

How many applications of liquid cement did you apply before the plastic softened?

Gotta try that some time. Thanks!

Well, i guess it was ont or two, u think the trick is to let the glue sit for a while to let it work.

Nice Sherman. Did you add the bars to the sides the ones with the little bolts on them where the fenders would be I saw them but did not remember them in kit. And who says that Italeri did not get this one right. I just got this kit also so thanks for look. And again nice sherman. (:-)

Do you have a template of this bar with bolt holes to the sides? What did you use to make it and how far apart are the bolt holes? Also what size are the bolt holes? Sorry about asking so many questions but this would be very handy to know and seems like it could be worth doing to other Shermans also. In fact any information you have would be appreciated. The kit cam out brilliantly, it really looks the part!

Very nice!
I never gave a thought to the plain old shermans in IDF roles. I always pictured the super shermans and variants in IDF use.

I just eyeballed the measures, used a thin strip of evergreen and drilled it in equal spaces
