Ola

Well my fight with this one continues,

previous steps can be found HERE

I added 3 layers of wash, one heavy overall, and two smaller ones, all with oils. I also made exexausts rusty (i think i overdone it and will fix it a bit)

But this kit punched another strike on me AGAIN!

after taking this pics decals broke into little pieces and fall off! I dont have spare ones so i guess no markings on this one when finished.

Pics :-)

any comments are welcome!!!

Mirko, looks good so far. You said the decals fell off? Did you seal them before you began the washes? If so what did you seal them with?

Sticky thanks for reply, yup they fell off, i did what i always do, glossed up entire model, added decals and than glossed up some more over them, but i guess its just maquette bad quallity decals, i had some minor problems with their decals a while ago, but never like this, they turned into a bunch of pieces and literaly flew of with the wind (i took the pics outside).

Well, i guess leaving it without decals wont be a mistake, lots of T-34 with no markings in that stages of war (1941/42)

If i manage to get some other decals in next 10 days ill use them.

You used an oil based wash, did you use an acylic based gloss?

Hi mate,

Great job, I like the washes!

The rust seems a little overdone indeed...the colour is great, but there really is a layer of rust on the exhaust :-)

Keep up the good work

Hi!
The model looks good in my opinion, the wash is cool. Altouh you should fix the towing cable end, it spoil a model a bit. About decals, what do you think about painting the tactical number?

Looks excellent mate.
In my opinion it is a little glossy, but you can fix that up.
other than that great job so far.

Hey Mirko,

Looking great sofar!! One cannot see you had so much trouble with this little ....LOL. About the decals though, I have some Russian decals lying around for future projects, but I'm sure I can spare some to send to you, that is, if you're interested offcourse!!

Send me an PM with your details if interested, and the decals will be on their way, my friend!!
