Folks dont know if i've posted this in the right spot or if this has come up already ,
but with the sad news of the passing of Garry Beebe ,will his profile be kept open ? i think it would be nice as a lasting memorial ,
is there anyway you techie staff chaps could add section under his personal profile so we could add a few words ? kind of like a book of condolence ? just a thought K

Kenaz,
I could create a link to the post that Dave started last night. We can also add the graphic that Robert made to his profile page.

Yeah I agree on that one! His account should be saved, and actually I think there won't be anyone who want's to delete it!
edit: Jim, I agree on Dave's thread. That is a book of condoleance actually....

Since I assume we are keeping his profile, we might want to put next to his name in the members directory "Deceased 1949-2005" so that new members in the future won't accidently send him an e-mail or PM thinking he may respond.

As Martin said, who would want to delete it anyway?
i think the addition of the Graphic Bob made would be fine, i see no need to write "deceased" next to his name ( no offence Jeff )

Maybe the Armorama "icon" on the top left should be a link to garrys profile were this would in addition be a book of condolence with all the words posted in the thread.

Excellent idea Kenaz.
It would make it seem like he was still around, wandering through the great halls of Armorama...I like the idea of that.

Yeah Peter ,just because hes not with us in body it doesnt mean hes not here with us anyhow !
my Dad died 8 years ago at the same age through the same illness
he taught me everything I know about modeling and art
and often I still hear him urging me on and putting me right about stuff . I know exactly what he'd say or think ,
so Garry ought to be with us here always too! he can still influence a persons modeling ,simply by aspiring to his standards
