Lord UK UPS Type Dude

First thing I notice is your new digi cam is getting a workout -- this is good, as this Tiger really fills the view finder. It has a "massive" look to it, and appears to be a very tight fit all the way around. Good looking turret job, --- impressive tube on this!

Please keep us posted as you move through this build.

Looking great so far, Pete. That hard-edge camo looks really good on the turret !

How are the track links with this kit ?

Cheers !!

Robert
The track links with this kit are IMHO some of the best indy links I've seen. I cut em off the sprue, give em a quick clean up with a small file and they fall together. I just wish the Indy links in Dragons original Kt kits were this good.

Hi mate,

Nice camouflage! You handpainted it or have you been taping it of like I did?

Guys
here's some pics of the tracks in progress and installed. As I said above these are some of the best (IMHO) indy links I've used so far, once cleaned up the fit together beautifully.

Martinn, the cammo is hand painted with a brush.

Damn fine work on the tracks Pedro...they'll look great once their packed with mud and grass...can't wait to see this baby finished... tick tick tick

Looks like the camera is doing a fine job and you've mastered it, now just add alittle fill light coming from the right...you could also use a sheet of white card stock or styrene to bounce the light into the shadow areas.

Looking good Pete!!! and your right those tracks look nice!!.. hopefully DML will sell em as a seperate package for people wanting to replace on other kits..

always wish they'd do that with the 250 tracks.. so people could upgrade their Italeri/Revell Demags without paying an arm and a leg!

Great job on the painting Pete!

Is this the new Ardennes kit or is this the "old" Henschel King Tiger kit (which I've also build, nice kit)
