And what about a replacement barrel, anyone know when I can find one for this kit?

Hello Woodstock,
I built one. I got some fit trouble too.
As far as replacement parts are concerned, I'm only aware of the armour track models link by link tracks.
Below is a pics of the tracks. The idlers and the sprockets are in the set too.

Yes I've seen those aftermarket tracks as the ones that come with the kit suck...though for now I'm holding off the investment...Do you have more images of your model? Any ideas if a T-72 barrel would work. The kit one fits so poorly with such an overlap between the two halves that after you sand it it would not appear to be round any more and all the detail is lost along the thermal sleeve...
