Hi,
Building a Dragon 1/35th gondola kit and I need some railroad track to display it on. Does anyone know the length of the Verlinden 1/35th track section?
Other recommendations?
Thanks,
Lou

Doesn't Dragon also make track sections? Or did they quit?

there is a lternative solution very realistic:
balsa wood for the supports, styrene from plastruct I beam ( plastruct 90516 ) and strips .040 x 0.156" ( 147 evergreen )
cut the suports rub with iron brush and paint complete with permanent black ink and drybrush with oil colours
looks like real old wood
dragon has a kit track and embarkment witha section of about 1 feet long
forget the verlinden option its very short
hope be helpfull

all the wood as you see is balsa wood not the plastic with texture of wood, looks more realistic.

Panzer,
Yahoo won't allow anyone to access your picture. I was going to fix the link to the picture but Yahoo wouldn't let me in. Is your gallery "public?" I think it has to be to link to it. Best bet would probably be for you to save it in your gallery here and post it from there.
Hope this helps.

FINALLY I CAN UPLOAD PICS IN THE ALBUM MODELS ON RAILS THERE YOU CAN SEE THE GONDOLA WITHOUT THAT FAKE PLASTIC WITH TEXTURE OF WOOD ( TEXTURE IS INVERTED ) ALL THE WOOD IN ALL THE MODELS IS BALSA WOOD, AND ALL THE RAILS AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE MODELS IS DOING THE RAILS MYSELF AS I TOLD YOU, I FORGOT ANOTHER COMPONENT TO MAKE THE RAILS AND IS THE HALFROUND STRIPS FOR THE UPPER SIDE.
THE WOOD LOOKS LIKE MORE REALISIC THAN ONLY PAINT AND OILS OVER THE PLASTIC SHEET.
HOPE BE HELPFULL THE PICS TO SHOW THE FINAL RESULT, MOST OF THE MODELS ARE UNFINISHED BUT THIS IS THE YEAR WHEN I FINISH ALL .
