My favorite part of any model is painting and weathering. So of course I love figures because assembly is minimal. I recently ordered from Russia Tahk "German panzergrenadieren SS, Kharkow, winther 1943" Eight of em total for a dio Im working on. Ive done a fair number of 1/35 scale figures and have always been pleased with the outcome.

When I received them and assembled 'em I was blown away by the detail. It exceeds any other resin figure I have ever seen. However, Im having a hell of a time painting em. The poses along with the detail is making it quite difficult. In fact Im so pissed at this point I may strip em and start over. So why am I telling all of you this?? Dunno, but by typing this out im now not so angry I feel like I want to put my head thru a wall.

For the sake of admitting I have those days too - I'm going to leave this thread here.

(I moved the other double post to the figures forum so we can all have fun :-) - Cheers)

Lately it seems most of the days are "those days". Some of the races in my country have a belief than when one has a run of "those days" they need to soak themselves in a tub of water filled with flowers.

Not to sure what flowers though but you might just want to include as many as you can, Gearbox. Might want to bring your figures in too for a soak just in case it helps.

As for me I'd probably need to walk in a tub of flowers just to avoid "those days".

Take care and hang on till the sun comes out.

Ever have one of those days???

Ever have one of those days???

Every day was ending up to be one of those days... finished the painting of over 120 soldiers for my mega diorama ... none of which I'm thrilled about ...

Had to step away from the process for a while (a long while) ... before you ruin any walls in your house with your head ... take a step back ... walk away for an hour ... a day ... a month (or two in my case) ... and get back to it ... and remember ... it's supposed to be FUN!

I know easier said then done.

Good Luck.
