Here are some finished pictures of my Initial Tiger :-)

Well its been a great kit,i would love to do another in the near future, but i have got enough kits for now.
The Tiger was painted in Tamiya Acrylics and weathered using mig powders. Now i must crack on and start building its Diorama.
Please post your comments.

I wonder at what point the German army decided to add the large tow cables, and the track swapping cables? This would be the next version by Dragon.
Tiger 1 initial (later).
I like the subtle weathering along the bottom of the hull. (++) (++)

Looking good karl. Nice, subtle weathering adds to the tiger andhides none of the detail. What colour did you use for the German grey? Your rusted exhauts look the part. Nice!!!

The tank looks great, I have to admit.
Two things I have to ask about though.
1. Don't you think the wooden block for the jack is a little plain and unrealistic?
2. In my experience of AFV's from my spell in the army I've discovered that scratches on the hull preceed the appearance of rust. Doesn't the Tig look a little squeeky clean?

Very nice Tiger the only thing I find odd is the wooden jack it has no detail other than that awesome job. How did you bllend the side panels? it looks great.Keep up the good work.

I also am very impressed by the weathering, as a major element in an excellent build. Looking forward to the dio, thanks for sharing.

Karl,
That's a very nice looking job you've done. Really like the way you did the exhaust.
The subtle weathering job is nice. I get a bit too heavy handed with my weathering to get those results.
It's a great job all the way around.
Joe
