Guys,

I need your comments about choosing an compressor for my airbrush.
1. I would like to know how many bars or psi do we need for a compressor?
2. I have checked Gunze's compressor and found that their spec is like this: STANDATD PRESSURE: 0.1MPa (1.0kgf/cm²)
MAX PRESSURE: 0.15MPa (1.5kgf/cm²)
OUTPUT AIR: 10L/min. So, what is MPa stands for? How many MPa equal to 1 bar?

:-)

Hi mate,

I can't awnser your 2nd question but I can awnser the first:

- I can recommend you find yourself a compressor that is able to give a pressure below 1 bar.....I like to spray with low pressure, you can work close to your model and you can spray very thin lines/camouflage patches.
I almost never spray with more than 1 bar, only if I need to clean the compressor of my airbrush.

I use the SilAir 15exp....a little expensive (at least for me it was) but a good choise....I really like it!
