I finished my entry for Age 2. Entering under the Over17 category, this is Tamiya's 1/35 M1046 TOW HMMWV. A great kit, you can leave it just OOB, or use multiple aftermarket kits to build it up. Either way, it looks very good. There is not much here that I have not gone over in previous posts. The only real problem was getting the figures to fit in the right positions in the vehicle. This was just as much my fault as the kits. I had already glued the upper roof down, so fitting the gunner was a challenge in the least. Other than that, it was a great fit and a fun build.

Great job Jeff, well done. A+ getting your driver in the right postion, I know it's hard getting small scale figures to pose. Good luck Jeff

Mother and Andy, thanks for your comments.

Mother, in fact the only reason the driver is not in the vehicle is because for the life of me, short of ripping off the roof, I could not fit the dang guy in there. I actually sanded part of his right foot and removed the back stop that keeps the door from caving in on itself (assuming that the door would be portrayed closed). My dad pointed out to me that the guy actually looked good coming out, a sort of in motion shot. Same with the gunner. I couldn't get a good dry fit with all the moving parts, so I glued him down and hoped for the best. His hands appear to be moving to the knobs as he is checking the surroundings (not aiming the launcher as this is a non-combat portrayal).
