So here it is,
I finished this project after 3 months (I know I'm slow).
I had a lot of fun building it. The model is OOTB except for some grabhandles and the mesh. The tracks are Fruil and the barrel is Eduard.
Feel free to comment.

Dirk, I have to say that I like this one very much. The finish is so realistic. The amount of rust and paint chips are very convincing and not over done. The paint and weather is top notch. The tow cable is very good as well. I like they way you put the kink in the cable. Is this cable made of wire or string? I cannot find anything wrong with it. I know very little about the tank but I do know talent when I see it. Bravo and three cheers

Looks great, my only peeve would be the rear screens. The supports look way too thick, and thus the screen too far down. Maybe next time thin them out, or replace them with strip stock. Otherwise the I really like the overall finish!

Dave,
Thanks for the praising words. The tow cable is from Karaya.
John,
I agree about the thickness but I'm this was my first project were I used some scratchbuilding. The grabhandles and the mesh screen are my first efforts.
It was also the first time I used Fruils.

Dirk,
Really great job. Love the ware and tare. Just right. OK I missed the part about who's kit this was? Dragon, Tamiya or another?
Are you going to enter this in the BE nats next year?
Tracy :-)

Great tank, a really nice build, nice colours and great weathering. As someone said, not overdone, just perfect!
The groundwork looks good, I just think it would make it a bit more realistic with some "plaster" among the rubbels. I'm not really sure what the proper word is in english, but the stuff you put between the bricks. The bricks looks great, but the stuff that goes between is somehow missing among the rubble.
Hope you understand what I'm trying to say?!
regards,
Steen

Tracy,
Thanks, This is the old Tamiya kit.
Steen,
I know exactly what you mean, and you're right. This kit is a project I did for an online contest on the Dutch site Twenot. It ends next thursday and I didn't have the time to do some proper groundwork. So this was a quick job - kind of inbetween solution.
Cheers,
Dirk

Looks awesome, I love the dusting effect.
Only problem I see is there is nothing holding the spare track on the front plate. I would add some brackets or something to hold it down.

Dirk, very nice job, your SU-85 really looks the part. I have just one small nit-pick, and it really doesn't even concern your model. It is your discription:
The model is not OOTB once you have added all those AM goodies. It is the kit plus all that stuff. Yeah, I know some of you are sitting there saying "please", but you couldn't enter it in a contest as OOTB, why call it that here? Alright enough of that, I've got a basketball game to watch. Go UNC!! Again, excellent job Dirk.
Cheers,
Mike

Greg,
I used 8 rivets on the spare tracks. these were meant to hold the spare tracks.
Francois,
Thanks
Mike,
You're right. What I meant was that I didn't use PE, mr surfacer etc etc.
The tracks in the kit are not usuable so Fruil was the only option.
Andrew,
thanks 2
