I was inspired by Steve Keegan's abandoned KVII so I'm building a destroyed KV too
I used Verlindens KV update set for the engine compartment and the supportbrackets. I have to say that the quality of the engine compartment is really Lots of airbubbles and poor casted details and it was a real disaster to make a decent fit to the upper hull.
I need to add some small details and maybe Fruil tracks but haven't the money at the moment to affort them really frustating..
If you have any tips or if you see some errors, please let me know

Jurjen

Jurgen
This is good solid work here. The metal fenders, the damage you have shown on them, and also the look of their brackets, --- all very well done!
Nice touches with how you have shown damage to the engine compartment/deck.
Maybe either the turret hatch, or the drivers hatch could be slightly opened/dislodged to give an abandoned look to the KV.
This is good work.
What are your plans? A dio base of some sort? Please keep us posted.

Jurjen, I can't tell from the pics, but where is the shot entry "wound" at? Lower right side of the rear hull area? Might be my aging eyes :-) Looks good thus far. The Frui tracks would look great on this, but as you said they are $$$$$$$$. Looking forward to the finished piece. "Q"

Super! I love it! I cannot heap on enough praise! There is one small thing though. You MUST change the brackets for the head light and horn on the front plate! those molded ledges must go!
