Does anyone make super detailed brass or aluminum MG34 or 42 barrels for 1/35 AFV's?? I thought Schatton Modelbau did but I guess I was wrong.

There used to be a company that made brass castings of a wide variety of weapons, including these two, but I can't remember the name,

Unless you absolutely want brass or aluminium, Dragon's weapon sets are great, and you get a whole bunch of guns for a price of a single BAR rifle by collectors brass. And I mean those older sets from around '94 and '95.

In my opinion, these older sets are much better than the ones on the extra equipment sprue inlcuded on some the new figure sets. The details on the new guns look to be just badly done. They should have just thrown in some of those weapon sprues from old figure sets.

Some time ago there was sales at a local hobby shop and they sold away these old sets at half price. They had the allied infantry weapons set. I didn't get it immediately and then it was gone. It still bugs me a lot, I can't find that set anywhere here in Finland. I think I should go and buy those other sets when they're still there.
