Ive had this kit for over 2 months , half finished , just sitting looking at me with big eyes . Last night I went all out and painted the sucker. It has 2 decals missing and a window (lost to the carpet monster). The decals will be fitted eventually , when I get round to building a dio for it .The window? .... weeeelll Im sure some got broken or lost in real life (ahem).
The pics...... This is the first time I can say Im not happy with my pics.Generally they turn out pretty good but these ones dont really show the dust up as it looks in real life , but enough excuses here they are.

I've got one that I've been saving for some armored car build that will pop up in the future. It looks to be a very nice kit and I am still debating on whether or not to get the assistance team set that includes the gunner figure.

I've wanted one of these since they were first issued, but I'm on a kit buying embargo (self enforced) until I actually get a few kits built. But this one looks great. I really like the look of your tires, something I'm still struggling to get right.
Yours looks like it's ready to roll out in a convoy, get the radio check and let's roll.

Lemonjello weathering is all about having faith you aint about to screw up a weeks worth of modelling. Most of my weathering technique is, using 2 brushes, dab on some paint and quickly dry brush it in .It gets a bit more involved if Im doing mud , but for dust effects thats basicly it.Considering this kit cost me an arm and a leg for its size (£24.99 why is everything so expensive in the UK?) it was a little daunting to weather it , but I had some practice on a couple of other kits lately so I knew it would work. (Im still kinda finding my feet after a loooong absence from scale modelling). I guess its the old cliches of "practice practice practice" and "what works for you is the best"

Deusmex, I'll have to give the 2 brush method a try, see if that helps me any. Like you said, it's getting over that fear of ruining all your work with an untired or unfamiliar technique. But I'm getting over it a little at a time, and I'm liking the progress.
Still, your weathering is quite subtle and convincing, thanks for the tips!
