Gino shows us how simple it is to get the "pause that refreshes" (See how many old guys we have??)

This is a very self explanatory feature on how to make boxes of soda.

Yup, these are nice. Gino was nice enough to send me the file last month. I printed them out on heavy card stock. Actually the card stock was ment fo greeting cards. Worked out fine.

FYI - I am working on getting a link to a version of the multi box image that will allow you to save the image and then print a copy.

Stay tuned, I'll post another post here in this thread.....

VERY cool...

These are very nice indeed ! I've made some of my own Coke boxes and Mid-east style water boxes but they didn't turn out as well as these. Anxiously awaiting a download link......

What about beer boxes or bottled water boxes...?

Thanks;
Bob

I agree....definitely need beer boxes for Op Canuck Steel. It was the most important item of field gear on ANY vehicle.

The technique is universal. The biggest hurdle for making cases of beer is age limits (for our younger members). I guess I'll have to throw myself on the sword and volunteer to buy a case of beer and take pictures

Seriously though, the technique can be used for anything... Take pictures of cases of beer, soda, water, whatever comes in a large style box..

Scott has the idea. All you need to do is have a digital pic that you can size down and manipulate. I used MS Power Point to create the box pattern and pasted the pics into it. Good luck and hope you like the drink boxes.

[ Ciao Gino,
Very, very well done. I am not equipped (yet) to repeat such a feast so I'll stick to ration boxes for now. How about a case or two of Corona...lolAnyways, I'm far behind you in years of model building, but I will eventually give this a try. Thanks for sharing,
Claude

Simply a great idea, one that has probably been staring me in the face, and I never made the connection. (Or maybe its just that I'm lazy and was waiting for an AM company to produce these.) This way, you take what HeavyArty has shown us and you can customize/personalize your kits or dios. Did I mention how cool this was?

Thanks for taking the time to write this one up, Gino.

Mary
You can definitely re-size these to any scale.

I have been trying to get the second image over on MSN to give everyone "save as" access but have failed misserably to this point. I'll email a copy to you.
Just resize the image in a photo editing program so downscale to 1/48

Any luck trying to upload the file yet Scott? I tried making these myself tonight, but my picture taking skills are lacking so far.

All,
Thanks for the replies and good words. I have uploaded the zipped Power Point file to the Armorama MSM site under documents. It should work, as long as you have WinZip. It is the printable version already scaled to 1/35th scale.

Here is a direct link. Soda boxes

Enjoy.
