Hi all,
Progress has been slow on my entry. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up the pace in the next two months.
The setting: The opening days of the offensive. The 1st SS Pz Div is beginning its drive west. An infantry commander is briefing two of his NCO's on their next objective and line of advance.
In the north, 6th Army was fighting rain, mud and fog for the first 7 days, so it is unlikely I'll add any snow. If I do it will a trace only.
There will be a rut chewed up by tank and halftrack treads behind the CO and MG42 gunner.
I haven't made a final decision on the type of fence running thru the scene (wire, wood or stone) but am leaning towards wire with weeds and grass growing thru it.
That's it for now. Thanks for looking.
Rick

Without the weapons they look like construction guys. The foreman instructing a dismounted 'dozer operator.
