This is my first diorama in progress, the snow will cover both bases and there will be a lot more rubble on the unfinished side. The tiger will stay and there will be a battle between russian and german troops going on. (The Tiger is also my AGE 2 entry)

Please give me any ideas to improve this design.

I thought I saw that same exact base on a different diorama? Well other than that, this is good.

Very ambitious. Such a big diorama for a first attempt. Looks good so far. I think the extra snow and rubble will hep pull things together a bit. Can you tell us a bit of the story behind this dio? Can't wait to see your progress.

Yeah the base was originally on its own but swapped tanks round and decided to make bigger. It is set in the last days of the war, with the street battles between german and russian troops. :-)

Looks good so far!I also like big dios!Do you plan to put some kind of an anti tank wepon?Because I believe that the russians would not be so close to the Tiger without a proper cover.Maybe the Tiger could be in an abandoned position.Still, }its a great dio for a first effort and I hope to see it ready!Keep the pics coming!

looks good there! i like it although you might want to lower the barrel of the tank, they would never raise the gun that high because most all danger they can knock out comes from the ground. Keep up the good work

very good for first attempts. but considering hte tigers in the city, there probably would be less snow and/or a lot of foot prints and tracks. and there wouldnt be so much mudy weathering if there was a lot of snow, and i agree with the theoy of hidding the russians unless you have an anti tank gun not far.

also you could lower the gun and have it point at the russian directions.

otherwise, it looks good

The muddy weathering is due to that i never planned to put this tank in a diorama, it was just going to be my AGE 2 entry but thanks for the tips

I think that's even bigger than my diorama. Cool!

Aside from the suggestions and comments given here, I'd like to contribute my own idea.

As an addition to what Bus said, what about putting in a group of Russians FRANTICALLY (and I mean REALLY hurrying up) setting up an anti-tank gun on that side of the diorama on the street where there is no groundwork yet? Or maybe one of the gun crewman is pointing at the tank while the others are trying to push the AT gun and rotate its barrel and point it to the Tiger? The dio would be very dynamic.

I'm not sure where you will get the figs though but I think with all the modeling supplies in your country, you can find some.

Just a suggestion.

That looks too much snow under the tiger considering that this is a city! Are you sure you can't turn that snow into rubble? It would look better... But it looks OK never the less! And the figures are very well positioned!....nice work! :-)
