Look in "Rob's Motor Pool" in the Vehicle Reference album. I think he took some and posted them there.

Pete,

I've seen Rob's "New" tactical quiet generator. I'm looking for them more towards 'nam.

Here's a big one I framed in the early 1990's in the port of Antwerp - Belgium.

I do have some of the old gassers in the motorpool, but I'm not around to take any photos.

Looks like a 45kw base camp generator. powered by a 2 1/2 ton truck motor. Never saw one on a trailer only ones I saw were on skids. But that was 30 years ago. I kind of remember that there was a 2.5 and 3.5 kw generator in use then. IIRC the 2.5 was 2 cyl 2 cycle screamer and the 3.5kw was a 4 cyl 4cycle. Still loud but a lot quieter than the 2.5kw. The M577 carried the 3.5kw generator.

Rob,

I'd be grateful if you'd post photos & measurements when you get back.
