Anybody got or built this kit yet. It looks pretty good from what I saw , but it was built. How are parts, fairly accurate/detailed and most importantly is it individual links or one piece track? If it is one piece is it that "new vinyl" that you can use glue to get it to set down on road wheels?

Hi Steve,

DML panther D is a good kit or so i heard. I built their panther A kit and it was a good kit too. Since they share most of the sprues, i'm sure D is as good as the A kit.

anyway, DML's quality (the more recent kits, not those dating back 1995) cant be wrong

oh yea, they have indi tracks and they are great!

i cant wait to start my build on the D version

thanks for info. Been wanting a drum cupola Panther for the collection and have been real impressed with DML lately.

Here's mine, I loved it. upper to lower hull assembly is a little tricky, just take your time and you'll figure it out.

Regards, steve

Man I really need to get myself one of DML's panthers too. I build the italeri one before and that's a really bad kit hehe :-) I love the looks of the panther though, probably one of the most beautifull WW2 tanks :-)

The DML Panther D is a great kit. This is coming from a die hard allied builder. :-)
When i won it in a club raffle i couldnt wait to start it. In fact i built the whole thing in 2 days. Painting took a little while longer thought.

All in all its good kit for the money. It doesnt come with all the extras like most of the newer kits are coming with but it builds great.

I have both the Panther D and Late A from Dragon here built with the early A in the stack. The D is a nice kit, the only problem(?) with it is that the upper and lower hull parts are awkward to fit together. Here's a pic for you

The only am item is an eduard gun barrel although I may well retrofit the engine deck grills.

Pete

PS I wish Dragon would do a BergePanther!!!
