Hey guys, anybody knows of AM parts for the AFV M88A1, especially the interior, besides the one from AEF Designs? TIA.

MR Models has a full interior. Good references are essential, though.
Eduard makes/made a PE set for the exterior.
AFV Club makes tracks.

Thanks for the info Olaf. The MR Models interior is a bit pricey though but will try to get one in the near future.

I don't have the tracks but have both the Eduard PE and the MR interiors. The PE seems about usual for Eduard, and although it is expensive, I was very impressed with what I got with the MR kit. There's a lot of stuff in there as well as a 12 page instruction booklet, and I know that when I eventually build that kit, I'll be glad I got it.
I also highly recommend the "Museum Ordnance Special Number 1, M88A1 Armored Recovery Vehicle" by Jeffrey D. McKaughan, published by the Darlington Press in Darlington Md. It's a magazine sized book of 24 pages, virtually all of it photos or line drawings, and my copy says $7.95 on the cover. Absolutely worth it.

Tom:
When you get the interior done, send me a photo. You'ld of thought with all the time I spent I would have seen the interior of one of those beasts. Never did. Ususally when I had one nearby was when we were doing repair or major maintenance on one of my tanks and I didn't have time to "sight-see".

I've got many photos of the inside of an M88A1, both brand new and one being tore apart for winch replacement.
I never spent any time in an M88 when I was riding tanks, you tend to avoid that vehicle like the plague. We were trained on them in the Bn Maintenance Officer Course and I got to play with them at my motor pool.

Steve, no problem, but it won't be soon! :-) At one point I had given some thought to doing it for the MSG campaign. :-) :-) :-)
AYKM???? I've had other distractions, and haven't even started my subs yet for DDD.
It is one beautiful kit, and knowing the way I build, I'll put WAY too much effort into the details and it'll take forever!!!
But I WILL build it!!! Certified!!
