Fellow modelers,
I've read several times already that Dragon has come out or is coming out with a new M1A1 model AIM (Abrams Integrated Management) version in 1/35 scale soon. So I have several questions for those who are knowledgeable about this:.

1. So what are differences between a regular M1A1HA and M1A1 AIM version? Is there a lot of exterior change?

2. Do you know of any online stores that sell the new version from Dragon? Has it even come out now?

3. Are most M1A1's deployed in Iraq AIM versions or regular M1A1HA versions as available in Dragon models?

Thanks in advance!

The M1A1 AIM is a M1A1 returned to 0 mileage status with upgraded electronics that make updating it into a M1A2 SEP easier if the funding comes for it. As for external differences, there are some additonal antenne for GPS and EPARS, but they can be found on normal M1A1 Heavy commons also.

The big deal with the Dragon M1A1 AIM is that it should be about 80-90% new over the Orginal Dragon kit, which can be a bear to build. The kit hasn't come out yet and we should hopefully see it this summer.
