April Fools????? Sorry..but nope. Actually the dio did not start out with the intention of adding zombies...but after searching high and low for figures...and finding it nearly impossible to find anything but luftwaffe, i happened across these zombies. They came from Northstar. They are Gottenburg figures 1//48th..After thinking about it a bit..and running the idea past a couple of people..decided what the heck...i could make this work. Besides..i wanted to have fun. sooo...This is what came out of it. Actully planned on having three more zombies and a set of german soldiers rolling barrells in this ..but because of shipping problems..still waiting on those. Here a few pics of the zombies a little closer than the ones b4. Let me know what ya think...

Zombies i love it, i liked before and i still like it now, i have one question are these German Zombies Ha Ha. Nice work Mary you do travel a different road then most i think thats why i like your work.

I saw a film years ago, no idea what it was called but some GI's ended up in a German soldier zombie camp.

I think they turned out great, probably not very many "how to paint zombies" editorials out there, but yours gave me flash backs to that movie Heavy Metal...love to see people having fun and thinkin outside the box!

Love this dio, it makes a nice change from the norm. I think a way to improve it in my opinion would be to have drag marks behind the zombies where they have dragged thier feet along pushes the fallen leaves as they go.

Very nice dio you have there, I can almost hear the zombies moaning: "Brains, brains...".
But where's the poor chap's shotgun? You can't have a proper zombie-scene without shotguns! :-)

Also I just sculpted a male gnome for my wife for valentines complete with pipe and little green tree frog

How many total zombies are in the dio? I think I see 3.

All it needs is some smoker to blow a little smoke about and the pics would have a creepier feel to them.I love the whole feel to the dio.Do you mind if I link to these pics?I think the guys at Walking Dead Army my gaming team would like to see them.
