Hi guys,
I have read in an old TMMI issue that Vallejo has pre-thinned paints for airbrushing. Are they any good? How do they compare with the not thinned paint? Also, how do they compare with the paint from Tamiya?
Tanks for your help

Sebastian, they are in a word, excellent. They have far finer pigment than other acrylics and require virtually no thinning.

So the pre-thinned version does not need any thinning. Awesome. Thanks Jim. I will check them out today. As far as I can see, they have a much greater range than the Tamiya ones.

whilst i have never used the model air vallejo paints i find the model air ones to be superb.
much better pigment quality and consistency than tamiya. they are excellent for brush painting and are easily thinned with water.
also i particularly like the bottle design, wont spill if knocked over and wont start to dry out if you forget to put the lid back on!
invest in some and you wont be dissappointed!
regards
joe

I use them as much as possible and I love them. If you can you should use them to.
