For reasons of political correctnes. I didn't bother to place the "flag" on this boat.
I hope I can do one more but I've signed up on so many campaigns I cant remember some of them.

Wow! I like the interior detail where you've left the side off.

Thanks Martin.
The interior work are mostly decals, albeit some are handpainted. The deck was handpainted too. Kind of hard to brush the nooks and crannies.
The cable was stripped from an old telephone cable.

RD,
I think it turned out rather nice! I was curious as to how much shimming you were required to do with the interior. I seem to recall when you began ( I think it was you) you had some fitting issues. It's too bad that an after market set wasn't available for the interior.
Wasn't there slatted floors in the torpedo room? Or perhaps tread plate? Anyone? If there were, it would be cool if there were an after market kit for those, otherwise the floor seems bare.
At any rate, I think ity turned out really nice. I've thought about getting one of those for myself. I have the Type XXI with the cutaway and interior, but I thought I would save it for another day.
Take care

Hello Mondo!!
You have done a great job out of that old Revell Model
I like the paint job and don't worry about the flag, because it was only used when Departing/Arriving at port! The Bull of Scapa Flow looks great!!!!
I would like to advise you on three things (since you have done such a great job, if you want they will improve your work more) This is constructive critics!!
1 - The periscopes should be painted crome / silver, only the tips are painted with a grey paint;
2 - The cable forward of the Conning Tower has only one cable, not two - please check Martin's VII-C u-boat, he has a good close up of this area.
3 - On the floor plates and bulkheads and cutted areas, you should paint them red - like in the engine room compartment - it will give that professional look
Understand my points - I am only trying to make the model even better - no harm intended
Good work - and you still have more time for another one, RD Loteria
Please let me know about what I pointed out and about continuing aboard DDD

EDIT: You also should have placed this post in the correct Campaign - you forgot to make any Group Association
