FYI, the M966 TOW Carrier kit contains all the same parts to make the M1025, but also has a driver, passenger, as well as the gunner and of course the TOW launcher. The M1025 only has a gunner figure.

Got Academy's M966 TOW Carrier from a local store just today. I got it for around 6 dollars and change. Can't wait to start building it! I'll just be patient and wait for Rob's article on the Academy Humvees

Now you got me thinking.... I haven't even finished my M998 Cargo/Troop Carrier yet!

The wheel hubs are incorrect, right? All pics of the Humvees I see do not have hubs sticking out of the center of the wheels. I'm still looking for a way to remedy this without resorting to aftermarket parts. I also read somewhere that the M998's door windows should be widened. I verified this statement with pictures from the Motorpool and it seems that a little surgery is required .

The M966 is a candidate for scratchbuilt engine, radiator, pedals, interior parts, etc. I'll be writing an article as I go along :-)

You are right about the vinyl doors, but remember, there are four different wheel hub combinations seen in my motorpool. Front hubs differ from rear hubs and the wheels differ between bias and radial.
