What I'd like to know is if there are two crewmwn in the turret and do they set side by side, which is my guess.

Yes, two people in the turret (commander and operator), one driver. I do not know how the seating arrangements are but it probably is side-by-side.

One more question, is the turret air conditioned? Cooling for the electronics?

you can find a model i build like the Gepard .

It is not the same model but here you can find an example of the crew .
