Has anyone purchased Trakz's M-1025 Weighted Tires & Wheels for Tamiya Humvee (35263)?
The model number is tx0085.
Does the set have the new aggressive pattern or the old wide pattern? I looked at photos posted on hobby stores but does not show the pattern. Is it accurate if anyone purchased it?
I was considering getting a Blast Model one but I read a review that it is not accurate. This Trakz one is half the price of one by Real Models ($20 v. $10). Please let me know if anyone knows what pattern they come with.

From the photo at the link, they look like the old bias-ply tires, not the newer (aggressive pattern) radial tires.
I haven't used the set, so I can't be sure, but that is how they look to me.

The only thing wrong with the Blast Tires is that the "D" in Good Year is missing on the front tires. Unless you pull out a magnifing glass and rivit count the the model, it is hardly noticable.

That's done purposely to avoid trademark/copyright issues. Like another manufacturer writes CONTINENTAU on their tires. It avoids conflict with the manufacturer and a modeler can trim the letter U to make it look like an L.The only thing wrong with the Blast Tires is that the "D" in Good Year is missing on the front tires. I did not know that. Not to second guess you sir, if that is the case, why is it spelled out completely on the other side and on the rear tires (now I sound like a little kid, WHY, WHY, WHY?)
I stand corrected! I just looked at the Perth review (I didn't even notice this on my set at home). The full "GoodYear" logo is on the inside and on the outside, both back and front tires are missing the "D".
Things that make you go HHMMM!!!!!!

Thanks all of you guys for the postings. Special thanks to Frenchy for the link to the review of all Humvee tires.
Yes, unfortunately, Trakz set has the old bias ply tires. As far as the Blast tires are concerned, I do not think the spelling error was due to prevent trademark infringement- especially with the inner letterings being correct. If Goodyear was to sue Blast Models, Blast won't be able to get around with it- from my knowledge as an intellectual property lawyer.
I may have to go with the expensive Real Model ones or MR Model ones.
As far as Blast Model ones are concerned, it would be about 1.5 inches narrower or thinner in real life in width compared to the actual tires (a review at the bottom agrees on thinness). Plus, "Goo Year," bothers the heck out of me.
