I was wondering if I could use Italeri's LAV as a base for a Canadian LAV? What turret could I use,?
I haven't done a lot of research just seeing if I can add to my Canuck Steel squadron, I doubt my Lynx will be done.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

The Italeri LAV25 kit would be closer to the Canadian Coyote Recon veh. The Lav is a much bigger vehicle that is a big step up from the smaller LAV25. It could be done but a lot a scratch building, different tires, rear ramp instead of hatches, driver hatch similar to a Bradleys etc. Sombody will probably come out with a kit/conversion since the U.S. are using the Stryker (LAV no turret). Others out there may have more insight. I have played with them but not for any length of time!

Hey Joker,I'm working on that exact project now .I'm using the Revell Piranha kit.It is a time killer while I wait for the "paint to dry" on my other kits.I have a ton of pics of the Coyote pics and if your going to try it I hope you do too. Some of the things I've seen with the kit so far are, engine deck work, tires, gun mantlet, turret baskets, exhaust (muffler),delete the props and add fuel tanks and a ton of small details.Hope to see someone else giving it a try!
