Here you go guys. My first crack at a lone figure. I actually did it for a Veteran friend who survived the BOB. He served with the 84th "Rail Spliters". I painted the unit's patch on the figure's shoulder but unfortunately it can't be seen. Sorry for the lousy pic, it's the only one I could fit in my gallery. Comments welcome.

From what I can see Monte You havedone a great job on this figure. I especially like the weathering on the Great coat and boots.

That's a cool looking figure. I love the caked mud/dirt on the overcoat.
I like how you did the skin tone, expecially the blending of the 5 o'clock shadow.

He a good one- what scale, isn't one of the great things about what we do is the abilty to give something personal we can do. I would have lved to see the veterans face. Keep doing our ART :-)

That looks great. One thing though, I always thought that US infantry ammo pouches etc are sand colour and not green like the uniform
Other than that, it looks really nice, great job!

Thanks guys.
Andy, I'm sorry I don't have a manufacturer for you as I won the kit at a local show and it was just baged up.
Ian, it's a 1/16 scale kit. And yes you are right, my Veteran friend was speechless when I gave it to him.
Martin, you're right! My bad! They should be sandy color.
Oh well, like I said it was my first crack at a lone large scale figure. However I did learn one thing......It's easier to paint the small ones! :-)
