Just finished Dragons' new Bergpanzer. I've submitted a full build review which should be here shortly. Any comments are welcome.

Thanks Jim, no the figure is from an old Drgon kit with a new Hornet head, but I can't remember which figure it is?

Nice build but the figure looks a little too well dressed to be a typical maintenance crew on a recovery vehicle. Even a German one.

Vinnie,
Thanks for both the articles on the Bergpanzer Tiger P.
You did a great job on the build.
I have the kit on order at me LHS. I love building the "out of the ordinary" subjects. I'm in the middle of a Bergpanzer III build now.
It's great to be able to have someone else point out to quirks of a kit , like the holes for the stowed boom.
Great model. I agree with Rob that the figure looks a bit neat, maybe he's the boss.

Teacher,

Really nice! UGLY vehicle (which of course makes it a VERY interesting subject)! The chains are killer! They look like all the chains we yanked out of ammo cans after months on "non-use."

The boots look great (nice touch); the jacket? Shouldn't most of the dust be at the top instead of the bottom? My reasoning...assuming someone wore it while riding in the vehicle (look at the positioning of the "pretty" guy)(hehehe), unless their legs were sticking out of the hatch, shouldn't more dust have settled about the shoulders and upper arms? Unless the crew pulled a prank on a newbie and chained him up and dragged him behind.

Anyhoo, NICE.

Another GREAT product Vinnie, just as always.
But i'm wondering, i think this is your 4th or 5th product in a shorttime that i'm seeing on armorama, are you a full-time modeller or is it just that you can't stop doing this, greetz and looking forward to you next one Eric.

Vehicle, painting and weathering are all nicely done. Getting that little bit more natural and better each time. This whole scene is a stunner, Vinnie. Nice one.
A question about the chains. For chains I have a supply of suitable small junk jewellery ... the wife keeps picking small chains up for me. But they are a job to get the paint to stick. usually takes some touching up with pastels afterwards to hide the shiny parts. How were these, that are included in the kit? Do they take paint well?
The jib and chains, along with your weathering are the highlights for me. The vehicle itself is rather boring IMO. The weathering on the tracks and running gear is perfect. All the weatheringis there, all of the detail is still seen..
