Well, I can't say much because the photo is too far apart, but, from what I can see, It looks like a good dio with action and well posed figures (that's all you can say about the figures because they look far, far away), the tank seems to be well painted and the scenario looks good too!
Could you send us a clooser view of the dio? or even more than one from more than one side?
Cheers and happy modelling!

Thanks,Big Brother. The barbed wire is easy to make once you set up for it,which isn't tough either.Smacked BMW was fun to do also! (my friend Phil Douglas is the photographer and recently got back to work after dumping his own bike in a turn.He thought it was pretty cool! :-) )Prato, please go to my corner in the members gallery to see closer shots of this.I didn't want to clog up everything with copies.Thankyou for the kudos.

I love it, How'd you make the flag may I ask?
Posted: Friday, April 15, 2005 - 05:13 AM UTC
The flagpole is a piece of wire rod that I rolled and straightened. The flag 'cloth' is wine bottle foil .I purposely gave it the"home-made " appearance as Russian forces had not enjoyed too many 'first class' extras at this time of the war.Up close, the flag has tatters and some seaming showing. It was brush painted in enamels. It's also my first flag attempt

Nice dio on a circle base. I especially like the addition of the Soviet Red flag so prominently displayed in the composition. That bright color really draws the viewers eye right into the "goings on" post haste. I will check out your photos in the gallery. . . but for this pix, I wish you would have shot it with a neutral background. The colorful flowers are nice, but fight for the viewers attention. Very nice dio however. Congratulations,

Thanks guys. The tank(and just about everything else)does have a flatcoat on it.It's just that the natural light is TOO bright and glare becomes prominant. There is in fact, subtle weathering all over the upper hull as is everywhere else on the build. The light just washes it away.Yes,I agree the flowers in the background are a distraction, but since my friend Phil is getting used to a new camera(crisper focus),I guess he didn't want to mess with artificial lighting. On the plus side, the sunlight lets natural shadows occur, which promotes 'action' on the scene.I'm confident Phil will dial it all in shortly.I'm really horrible with photos so I'm not complaining at all. :-)

Once again the circular base makes a nice change and there is plenty to look at.
