how should i make a scarecrow for a diorama preferably 28mm

Don't know about 28mm, but Mk 1/35 makes a 1:35 scale scarecrow. Available from http://www.rjproducts.com

Hey Minky i'd say try using some modeling clay, the kind you bake to become hard. Then use some old paint brush bristles for the hay. For the head same clay balled up then using a file softly press in to get a burlap bag look. Now paint and hang on a post. Good luck.

Hi Minky, try forming toothpicks into a "t" ,then drape a coarse peice of fabric (representing burlap) over the "t" secure with thread , then add a head out of clay with soft army cap painted to look civilian.
